Almost all of these books liebflat and are not bent. A few of them have minor scuffing or tears on the covers. One of them, the Continuum of literacy learning, comes with built-in files. Two of the books have writing inside. I have made a picture of these two together, followed by examples. The writing and highlighting does not hamper the use of either of these two books. Some of the pages are yellowed, but they are all in very good shape.
